The Wilhelm Gustloff
The Wilhelm Gustloff was the worst maritime tragedy in history. It was even six times worse then the Titanic sinking. The Wilhelm Gustloff was a Ocean liner that set sail in World War II with refugees. It sank on the same day that it set sail on January 30 by two Soviet Union submarines. It was meant to be a cruise ship for the Nazis. All the rooms except for one were the same one the one that was different was bigger and it was for Hitler. 2 million people came to register for the Wilhelm Gustloff .It was carrying 10,000 people but it was meant to carry only 1,250. Only 1,500 people survived the Wilhelm Gustloff sinking.
